Since April, there is a new option on the market to legally watch movies on the internet, thanks to the new O2 Videotéka portal. The O2 Videotéka website brings an interesting opportunity to watch attractive movie releases not only for O2TV customers, but for all internet users. The current offer includes up to a thousand films including the latest movie releases and box office hits. Payment can be made either via so-called Payment SMS (surcharge 9 CZK), or if you are an O2 customer, through regular service billing. "The modern web framework Play was used for development together with the Scala programming language, on which companies like Twitter or FourSquare build their solutions. In the area of data storage, the portal uses MongoDB and Redis," explains Josef Sojka from Etnetera, the company that created the O2 Videotéka portal. Well, we don't know about you, but we at Greenhousing are definitely planning to try it out.
