Horní Ředice Eco-farm
It is located in a fertile agricultural area in Horní Ředice, west of Pardubice. Farming has been practiced here since ancient times, in 2005 there was a change to organic cultivation, and in August 2007 the farm was officially registered in the organic farming system. The main activity of Horní Ředice Eco-farm is growing organic vegetables and organic herbs on an area of about 0.5 ha (including potatoes) and organic fruit on an area of about 0.3 ha. Due to the growing interest in organic products, the aim is to further expand these areas while maintaining the charm of a small eco-farm and the diversity of cultivated crops. You may be surprised that you can find up to 50 types of organic vegetables and herbs and up to 20 types of organic fruit here. Most of the work at Horní Ředice Eco-farm is done by hand, so the cultivated quantity is also limited by the number of workers. A proper farm must also have various animals, so you can see goats, chickens, rabbits, geese, ducks, cats, a dog, and also a larger pony named Fili. There is always plenty of work at Horní Ředice Eco-farm, so if you or your friends would like to actively relax in the garden and among animals, and organic garden products, vegetarian organic food, or a horse ride would be enough as a reward for your work, you are warmly welcome.
