Greendata has undertaken a comprehensive revision of its General Terms and Conditions (GTC) in connection with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR).
For us at Greendata, protecting our customers' data has always been, is, and will always be our top priority. We already complied with most of the data protection requirements under the GDPR Regulation previously, because the new regulation partially follows ISO standards.
Among the main innovations is undoubtedly the adjustment of supplier-customer relationships. Any of our suppliers who have access to personal data (such as an accounting firm) automatically becomes a processor, and based on this, we have concluded a processing agreement with them.
Likewise, in the case of managed servers, we also become a processor for many customers, which we are addressing by contacting all customers with this service. If the customer has personal data on the servers, we will conclude a processing agreement with them.
Other service cases such as dedicated hosting or housing are covered by our newly revised general terms and conditions, expanded with points on personal data protection.
In addition, we have completed an analysis of all internal processes, including risk analysis, thanks to which we can say we are ready and GDPR friendly.
The main outputs include Personal Data Protection, Information on Rights in Personal Data Processing, Greendata Personal Data Security in DC6.cz Data Center, Cookies and Greendata and supplemented General Terms and Conditions of Greendata.
If you have any questions about personal data processing, do not hesitate to contact the managing director, Mr. Zdeněk Maršál.
