So Nestlé USA has announced that it will remove all artificial colors and artificial flavors from all chocolate candies and products by the end of 2015 at the latest. More than 250 products from 10 brands will thus be completely free of artificial additives. Already by mid-2015, products will bear a label declaring "no more artificial flavors or colors here." So what does Nestlé want to replace taste and scent with? For example, Nestlé wants to replace artificial aromatic vanilla with natural vanilla, etc.
What's behind this? More than 60 percent of Americans reportedly claim that color and flavor don't play a role when deciding on purchases. In other words, Nestlé is responding to consumer demand.
The million-dollar question is therefore, what do Americans buy food based on in America, if not according to taste and scent. We have no idea and are curious about what Nestlé will bring to Europe and what it will do, for example, with the taste and scent of Studentská pečeť, whose www microsite incidentally ran on our servers. We hope nothing! And you? red
