An interesting event in April is certainly the historically 1st SDN conference in the Czech Republic (and in Eastern Europe).
The event is organized on April 12th by PRO-ZETA, a. s., together with the American company Arista Networks.
As the name of this event suggests, the main topic of the conference will be SDN technologies (Software Defined Networks), with emphasis on the new VXLAN technology, which unlike VLAN allows spreading an internet network across multiple data centers, thus making the building of cloud networks more efficient.
The conference will be opened with a lecture by Marcin Mazur, who is responsible for Central and Eastern Europe at Arista Networks. Other noteworthy lectures include Network Virtualization, Big Data, or High Frequency Trading. The lectures will be conducted in English, with simultaneous translation. The afternoon will be dedicated to workshops, where participants will deepen their knowledge of network architecture.
The SDN conference takes place on April 12th from 9:00 AM at the Prague Planetarium in Holešovice. The conference capacity is 150 participants and the first year is completely free of charge.
