What is online housing Thanks to online access, the service is intended for everyone who operates data services on their own server, i.e., on "their own hardware," but at the same time wants to leave part of their requirements to experts. Another advantage is that you don't have to travel to the servers. Until now, only customers who rented their own rack at DC6.cz when purchasing a server from Czech-Server.cz had this advantage. Now the service is intended for everyone without distinction, with 1U and 2U servers being installed in a rack accessible to Czech-Server and DC6.cz staff if there is interest in housing after purchase. Would you like Server housing or Rack housing right away? When purchasing selected hardware, it is possible to have servers housed as part of the sales process, i.e., store them in a data center. There are six variants to choose from. If you are buying only one, two or three servers of 1U or 2U sizes, you can use individual server housing within a rack that Czech-Server.cz has allocated for these purposes. However, if you already house servers somewhere and want to consolidate, or if you are buying a larger number of servers, you can use rack housing services, i.e., rental of lockable rack cabinets of 6U, 12U, 21U and 42U sizes with dedicated connectivity of 1 – 10 Gbps. Individual 1U housing costs 490 CZK monthly + electricity consumption costs of 3.33 CZK per kWh. Rack housing prices start at 3000 CZK monthly for 6U rack size.
